A small primer gale developed under Tasmania Mon-Tues (5/7) with 36 ft seas aimed east. Swell arrival on Fri (5/17). A broader gale developed under New Zealand Wed-Thurs (5/9) with 37 ft seas aimed east-northeast. Swell arrival on Sat (5/18). Another tiny gale developed in the Central South Pacific Sat-Sun (5/12) with 33 ft seas aimed well northeast. No obvious swell to result. And yet another stronger one developed under New Zealand lifting northeast over the Central South Pacific Sun-Tues (5/14) with seas building to 37 ft. Swell arrival on Tues (5/21). A good swell pattern is setting up.
